Payment Information
At Mountain Family Dental, we accept most dental insurance. In fact, unlike many, we accept assignment of benefits. In other words, we will estimate in advance what your insurance will pay towards your treatment and accept that as payment. The patient, however, is still responsible for the remaining balance or co-pay after insurance. All payments are due at the time of service. It is very important to remember that dental insurance was never intended to pay for treatment, only to help. In fact, dental insurance usually only covers about 20-30% of total treatment cost. If you don’t have insurance, let us know. We offer many different options to help you pay for treatment and make it affordable. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, cash or check. In addition, we offer several financing options, including CareCredit® and Capital One® HealthCare Finance™. Depending upon your credit history and eligibility, you may qualify for low-interest or no-interest payment options to cover dental care expenses.
